JIM PARSONS

Jim Parsons Jim grew up in Oklahoma but spent his adult life in the Southwestern United States. There he worked as a part-time horse packer taking school children into the wilderness on horseback. He has packed horses for literally thousands of miles across the Anza Borrego Desert, San Bernardino National Forest, Sierra Nevada, and Northern Nevada's Great Basin. His experiences are the basis for two books, Windows into Western Life and Paniolo Man. He has shared his cowboy poetry from Washington DC to Hawaii.
