Spring is in the air and April is the month we celebrate all things poetic! Launched by the Academy of American Poets in April 1996, National Poetry Month is a special occasion that celebrates poets' integral role in our culture.
The Mesquite Western Poets, along with many other cowboy poetry groups celebrate their poetic traditions with programs held in many locations across the country. Our local poets will be performing at programs to be held at the public libraries in Mesquite, NV, St. George, UT, and Hildale, UT.
